Be listened to

Today, we’re well known for our television broadcasting. But if you take a step back and look at the bigger picture, you’ll realize that the first Hearst Corporation broadcast was actually conducted from WOSE radio of Milwaukee way back in 1928. Our heritage is in radio, and our network includes two thriving radio stations:

Working in Radio Working in Radio
  • WBAL-AM Baltimore - news and compelling talk radio at its most informed, on Maryland’s most trusted radio station
  • WIYY-FM Baltimore - rock music and entertainment programming on the flagship radio station of the Baltimore Ravens

Radio and associated audio platforms will always be an important part of how we reach into different communities. And while the medium might change, the Hearst Television culture remains instantly identifiable. We’re supportive, we’re trusted and we empower individuals to take ownership of opportunities and develop their careers.
